Our Sky installers can offer a full service for communal television systems such as MATV, SMATV and IRS including design, installation and maintenance. All the equipment we supply and install is high quality and CAI (Confederation of Aerial Installers) approved so our clients can be assured that they will be receiving professional equipment and a professional service.
MATV (Master Antenna Television)
This system will allow satellite receivers to be installed at a dedicated head end and will carry numerous satellite channels simultaneously around the cable infrastructure ie Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, Sky News, Sky Movies, MTV. This will then be received via a standard TV set. This system is ideal for hotels and residential homes.
SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television)
This is similar to MATV but allows us to provide the connection of a satellite receiver at each individual TV point. This system is ideal for buildings where a single dish installation is not possible.
IRS (Integrated Reception Systems)
This allows the tenant to receive all of air terrestrial, digital, DAB and digital IF transmissions via a single cable and received via satellite receivers or set top boxes. IRS means that the residents are free to choose to stay with analogue TV (until it's switched off) or change to digital television or satellite. Using this solution means that the landlord installing IRS can let the residents choose a digital television provider.
